Quest for Romance

Valentine’s Day
Is on its way
And thus here goes
This poem

It’s silly, I’m aware,
But I’d love for you to share
Those romantic Texas spots
if you know ‘em.

Where, in Texas, would you find the most romantic setting for the perfect “I love you”? Remember, our diversity is what makes us special, so non-traditional settings are welcome, too!

I almost hate to reveal this place, frankly. It’s not that well known and that makes it very special. However, I think the location where we held our wedding is THE spot. High in the hill country, hosted by an eclectic but darling community of smarty people, you can hold a wedding there for free – put down your deposit and then claim it post-event. (We donated ours to ensure others can use the site in the future.) It remains very busy, to be certain. But on a weekday you could probably snatch a few moments to bend the knee for a beloved or simply admire the others pledging their own vows. Lovely, lovely, lovely… http://www.chapeldulcinea.org/P.S. It’s near the Salt Lick so one can get their romance and their feed on.

Laura: That was a great suggestion! Thank you so much. I’d never heard of this chapel. It sounds fabulous and I can’t wait to check it out, myself. I can see why you wouldn’t want TOO many people to know. :) I’ll try to keep my trap shut about it. ;)
